Since 2009, Val Mindak has served as Park City’s CEO and President, leading the credit union’s mission of “helping members fulfill their dreams while serving their communities.”  Her commitment to bringing innovative retail strategies to the employees and the 20,000+ member-owners has been the driving force behind Park City’s rapid growth and local recognition as the Mid-Size Business of the Year for two years running.

As a financial services veteran, she previously worked as the Chief Operating Officer for Connexus Credit Union for 23 years overseeing branches nationally as well as the call center, retail/digital and internet teams. Throughout her career Val has driven positive culture management and a proactive leadership approach to blend retail strategies designed to grow the organization with a quality member experience.

Val earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Communications with an emphasis in marketing and digital technologies.  Val also has received the designation as Certified Chief Executive Officer (CCE) which is the highest designation within our industry.

Involved with all the system partners that support and drive our movement forward Val currently serving as the Chair of the Wisconsin Credit Union League Board of Directors, Chair of the League Services Corporation, Governmental Affairs Committee Board and the Unity Fund.  She also is a board member for Corporate Central Credit Union.

Her example of service above self extends past her leadership with credit unions as evidenced by her involvement as District Governor for Rotary, Board member of local Chamber of Commerce and  Ascension Hospital Board and the hospital foundation.  Park City Credit Union supports hundreds of local organizations and local causes.

Young professional and women’s leadership opportunities are a passion for Val.  She was instrumental in developing the young professional and women’s leadership programs in place within the state that has recruited hundreds of credit union future leaders.
